Who We Are:

Buzz Studios is an organization dedicated to offering Georgia Tech students an opportunity to create independent films, music videos, and commercials through hands on experience. Since the club was founded in the fall of 2001, Buzz Studios has produced a variety of short films. All of Buzz Studios movies have been written, directed, and produced by students at Georgia Tech.

How We Work:

Any Georgia Tech student in Good Academic Standing can become a member of Buzz Studios. Meetings are held every week to discuss business and plan events. When any member of Buzz Studios wishes to begin a new project, they first present the project idea to the club. The club then votes on whether to take on the project. Once the club accepts a project, the member who presented it becomes the Director of Productions for that particular project. Production jobs are assigned to club members interested, and events are scheduled for the project. With each project, there are many opportunities for members to learn about film production from camera work, film editing, sound editing, and special effects, to acting, directing, and screen writing.
